... another pretty afternoon ruined by math

I slammed through most of the number properties MGMAT book yesterday...until I hit exponents/root. (inset screeching brake noise here) That I saved for a hardcore concentration session. Blerg, I hate even thinking about them. Almost as much as I hate thinking I have to stay at my current job for another year and then some. Double blerg.

... freaks and other things not in my favor.

Working in television for over a decade, I have come to terms with the freaks that work in this industry. Rattle the cage a bit and the freaks get, well freaky. Layoffs at work have sent the freaks into overdrive. It doesn't help my studying schedule to be filling in here and there on night shifts. But it does and fuel to the fire that is under my ass to get the funk out of this biz.

Other things working against me is my roommate. Filling the house with booze and offering dinners that take too long to eat or prepare.. etc etc. Thing most people would be delighted to have, but to get home from work at 8.. eat at 9 and not study until 10p... that isn't going to work for me. I think I may need to start hiding out in my office after work. Until the move my office.. then I have no clue what I am going to do.
